SafeGlide systems can be used with Edko's SafeGlide aluminum cantilever
gate or with an existing gate. Types include:
- Bolt-on enclosed track and truck system for
cantilever gates
- Cantilever rollers of injection molded DuPont
Delrin®/glass material with sealed
bearings and protective covers
- Gate catch/latch assembly with provision for
padlocking
- Hinges precision machined from cold steel with
oil impregnated bronze bushings
- V-groove wheels precision machined from cold
steel with sealed bearings
This gate is exceptionally durable and fully welded from structural grade
aluminum alloy. It is available in opening sizes from 10' to 60' and is
factory assembled up to 30'. Some assembly is required for gates over 30'.
A master slave gate system may be used to double the opening (up to 120').
The Edko SafeGlide gate is available in the
following types:
- Standard cantilever gate
- Twin track cantilever gate
- Micro-box frame cantilever gate
- Macro-box frame cantilever gate
 
SafeGlide systems are made to be paired easily
with gate operators and are designed to
handle high-cycle and high-speed applications. Two-inch permanently sealed
bearings requiring no maintenance are used for the bolt-on track,
cantilever rollers, and V-groove systems, while oil impregnated bronze
bushings are used for the hinge.
